This Privacy Policy explains how Belter ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information, and the third-party AI services we share data with to create your content. By using Belter, you agree to the practices described below.
We collect only what we need to run the service: (a) account details from Sign in with Apple (name and email, provided by Apple on first sign-in); (b) the content you submit for generation — text prompts, lyrics, songs you create, voice recordings, and photos — which you provide directly in the app; and (c) usage and purchase information such as your credit balance and in-app purchases. We do not collect data from other sources and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We use your data only to: generate the music, covers, and videos you request; operate your account, subscription, and credit balance; provide support; and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.
To produce your content, we send the material you provide to the following third-party AI processors, who use it solely to deliver their service to us:
These providers act as our processors: they process your data only to provide their service to us, do not use it for their own advertising, and are contractually required to protect it to a standard at least equivalent to this policy. We ask for your permission inside the app before sharing this data with them, and you can decline.
Voice recordings and photos are treated as sensitive. They are processed to create your requested output and, for custom voices, to build a voice model you can reuse. We do not use your recordings or photos to train general-purpose AI models, and you can request deletion of your custom voices.
Belter includes a public community feed (Explore). Sharing is off by default and only happens if you turn it on in Settings. When it is on, the tracks you create are published to the feed along with their title, cover art, audio, and the display name on your account — these become visible to all other users of the app, so please do not put personal information in titles or lyrics you intend to share. We also record how many times a shared track is played. Turning sharing off in Settings stops future tracks from being published; to remove something already published, contact us. Reports you file and creators you block are stored so we can act on them and keep your feed filtered.
We keep your content and account data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual items in the app, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Belter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app where appropriate.
